These terms explain how you may use Fignis, what we provide, what remains your responsibility, and where the service has limits. They are written for a financial planning product in preview: useful, transparent, and careful about not pretending software is a fiduciary advisor.
By accessing or using Fignis, you agree to these Terms of Service and to any policies linked from them, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Fignis.
If you use Fignis on behalf of an organization, household, client, or other person, you represent that you have authority to do so and that you are responsible for that use.
Fignis provides software for building financial scenarios, financial elements, events, allocation rules, projections, and related planning workflows. The service is intended to make assumptions easier to inspect and compare.
Fignis does not guarantee that a projection will match real-world results. Markets, taxes, inflation, policy, income, health, family circumstances, and human decisions can all change outcomes.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.
You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by anyone you allow to use your credentials or device. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain responsibility for the financial assumptions, names, dates, balances, categories, tax settings, family/member data, and other content you enter into Fignis.
You grant Fignis permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Fignis is for educational, informational, and planning-support purposes. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, lending, or fiduciary financial advice.
You should consult qualified professionals before making financial, tax, investment, legal, or life decisions based on any model, projection, or scenario.
You may use Fignis only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the service, other users, or third parties.
Fignis is currently a fast-moving product. Features may be added, removed, renamed, limited, or changed. Preview access may include incomplete workflows, experimental functionality, and rapid release cycles.
We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent availability of any specific feature.
If paid plans, one-time purchases, trials, or subscriptions are offered, the price, billing period, renewal terms, and included features will be shown at checkout or in the applicable order flow.
Unless a checkout page or written agreement says otherwise, subscription cancellation applies to the next billing cycle, and refund requests are reviewed case by case. Fignis does not store full payment card numbers.
Fignis may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, email, analytics, observability, payments, and related infrastructure. Your use of third-party sign-in, payment, or linked services may also be governed by those providers' terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that are outside our control.
Fignis, the website, product design, software, content, branding, and related materials are owned by Fignis or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or create a competing service using Fignis except where permitted by law or a written agreement. You keep ownership of your planning inputs.
If you send ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feedback, you allow Fignis to use them without restriction or compensation. This does not give us ownership of your private planning data.
You may stop using Fignis at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created legal or security risk, misused the service, or caused harm to Fignis or others.
Some terms, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, payment obligations, and dispute provisions, survive termination where their nature requires it.
Fignis is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that calculations, projections, tax logic, market assumptions, or generated outputs will be complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fignis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, financial losses, or decisions made in reliance on projections.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the amount you paid Fignis for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if you have not paid Fignis.
We may update the service and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice in the product, by email, or on the website.
Your continued use of Fignis after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
If a signed order, enterprise agreement, or checkout agreement applies to your use of Fignis, that document controls where it conflicts with these general terms.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the issue informally. Any mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
